Learn about the new FEMA QuakeSmart Recognition Program: A comprehensive assessment, engineering and retrofit program designed to keep businesses open post-earthquake. Attendees will learn from experts the steps needed to become “QuakeSmart Certified”, and to address vulnerabilities in structures, systems and spaces.

Online registration is required, and is limited to the first 200 registrants.

The event kicks off with three hours of introductory information on QuakeSmart. Essential information from first responder and USGS experts will also be provided, followed by presentations from industry leaders in disaster business continuity.

Complimentary lunch and earthquake simulator experience will be offered.

Following lunch, attendees will get to interact with experts an take the first steps to become QuakeSmart.
